Bio:
The origins of Drugs Delaney are steeped in mystery and legend. Matt Scharf emerged fully grown from an enchanted egg that had incubated in a dusty and forgotten corner of a Mt. Pleasant dive bar for 24 years. As a result the one known today as “Scharf” assumed that beer and rock and roll were necessities for human survival. It was this assumption that led him to connect with Adam Rosenberg, a former knee capper for the Jewish mob in his native Philly. Known simply as “Berg,” he displayed a penchant for punishing deadbeats more with his constant talking than physical prowess. In typical “Get Shorty” style, Berg left Philly and became a local celebrity in the District through his acerbic wit, uncanny knack for promoting rock shows, and his now legendary genitalia. Fueled by the ruthlessness of the Jewish mob, a liver that laughs in the face of cirrhosis, and the undying, overpowering, soul crushing power of ROCK, Drugs Delaney will leave you battered, bloody, and deaf all the while laughing like bastards…..sorry, must’ve nodded out there…..better finish this bio before I nod out again.
